Cold northerly airflows have brought snow, ice and birds to Ballycastle.

Whoopers Swans, Redwing, Fieldfare and Song Thrushes have all be seen in larger numbers over the past few days.

On Christmas Eve a walk along the sea front at Ballycastle produced a Skylark busily looking for an area not frozen in which to feed.

Several Meadow and Rock Pipits where observed in and around the relative heat of Ballycastle town.
