Local Chippy May Keep Tranatlantic Visitor in Ballycastle
I checked for the Laughing Gull early this morning and it was still present, loafing on the roof of the Sheskburn Centre. It didn't appear too active so I went to work until mid afternoon. A quick check of the usual spots drew a blanks, but I did notice gulls feeding around the main harbour.
A five minute walk and there was the Laughing Gull on a wall beside the local fishmongers and chip shop.
If you are coming up over the weekend to look for the bird, check the river, the roof of the Sheskburn Centre, the Bay Cafe and around Mortons Chip Shop, otherwise just following Black headed Gulls!
