Belted Beauty (Lycia zonaria)

Formally recorded in Ballycastle Bay until the late 19th Century. Presumably extinct here, possibly as a result of the development of Ballycastle Golf Course on the former dunes. Still found in the extreme west of Ireland.

Location: County Mayo
