I am very pleased to have two of my photographs included in an exhibition of photographs in the Ulster Museum.

Focus on Birds presents 20 images of wild birds submitted to the Work of Northern Ireland Bird Photographers competition in the last six years. The photographs of mine which have been included are of the Ring billed Gull in Portrush and a young Peregrine Falcon (shown here) taken near Ballycastle.

Dr Peter Crowther, Head of Natural Sciences at National Museums Northern Ireland, said: “Focus on Birds is an excellent platform to showcase the work of homegrown, talented photographers.

“Most of these stunning photographs have been taken in Northern Ireland and feature local birds which you might see every day, although you may not take time to really enjoy their characteristics. This exhibition provides a unique perspective on our wildlife.”

The exhibition continues until Sunday 27 March in the Belfast Room (through the main entrance and turn right to end of corridor). Entry to the musuem is free though note it is not open on Mondays.
